March Madness

The month of March started with organizing a rally and march in the city of Frederick, Maryland. A joint effort of Rise Up Frederick and the Frederick Democrats, our rally drew over 1000 people. For me, it felt powerful to join a movement determined to promote saving democracy from a would-be dictator and his highest contributing campaign donor, a billionaire gone ballistic on ketamine. The resistance to the threat of authoritarianism in our country is growing and becoming stronger. I am proud to be a part of it.

I was thrilled to have been chosen as the Best Actress in a play by the ACT theater organization of Hagerstown, Maryland, for my performance of Ebby Nezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. For the past three years, I have enjoyed being a part of this production. For me, the story is the essence of the Christmas/holiday spirit. Sharing that story with audiences makes my holiday complete.

The final half of March was my trip to visit dear friends in France. I have enjoyed wonderful conversations, exquisite food, and amazingly beautiful sites. I am warmed by the support of the French people for our resistance efforts and the desire to save democracy in the US.

While traveling and seeing people I love is absolutely wonderful, I am looking forward to being at home with my critters-my favorite place in all the world.
