Fun February

 So, what have I been up to this month? Well, lots of fun with friends!

A Super Bowl party with dear friends was filled with laughter, cheers, and jeers! While my KC Chiefs did not win, it was fun to watch the Eagles play a fantastic game. 

Working to bring original theatrical pieces to various local wineries and breweries has been challenging and rewarding. I love the creative process and we are making in-roads on this new idea. I am looking forward to spring and what might transpire. I love theater, and I cannot wait to bring new ideas to audiences in different venues.

Spending time via FaceTime, the phone, and in visits with my children and grandchildren always brings me tremendous joy! Watching my granddaughter grow into a beautiful young woman, and gazing at the adventures of my toddler grandson are highlights in my life. This time is so precious and I am thankful for every opportunity to be with my special angels!

I was elated to be with my daughter and her family when they adopted their new dog, Miss Winnie. Seeing my daughter grin from ear to ear as she cuddled her new baby meant everything to me. Our furbabies are such important parts of our lives, and I am so glad Miss Winnie has a loving new home!

I was fortunate to travel to Rehoboth Beach to spend a wonderful weekend with friends and watch some amazing drag! 

Service with my Rotary family was another February joy. I love being part of an international service organization. Rotary in Frederick County is so active! I'm lucky to be part of this program!

The boys and I continue to be happy and active! I love being with my critters. And I am looking forward to spring and warm weather! Enjoy the photos of my month!

March Madness

 The month of March started with organizing a rally and march in the city of Frederick, Maryland. A joint effort of Rise Up Frederick and the Frederick Democrats, our rally drew over 1000 people. For me, it felt powerful to join a movement determined to promote saving democracy from a would-be dictator and his highest contributing campaign donor, a billionaire gone ballistic on ketamine. The resistance to the threat of authoritarianism in our country is growing and becoming stronger. I am proud to be a part of it. I was thrilled to have been chosen as the Best Actress in a play by the ACT theater organization of Hagerstown, Maryland, for my performance of Ebby Nezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. For the past three years, I have enjoyed being a part of this production. For me, the story is the essence of the Christmas/holiday spirit.
